October 18, 2026 — Unified AI conversation and pricing

The AI panel opens with the editor, keeps conversations when hidden, accepts reference images and text, and supports your own API key or Craft Apps credits. Creative tools retains image generation, copy, downloads and manual placement.

The homepage and Pricing page now share the editor’s dark green style. Exact-text, layout revision, page-boundary and Smart Text Reflow protections remain. The community editor build and credit-pack prices are unchanged.

October 18, 2026 — Layout editing Agent

The community build of DesignCraft 0.8.0 adds an Agent that edits real text frames, moves supported frames and creates text or shape frames in the open layout. It uses existing Craft Apps credits and native undo, with document identity, revision and exact-original-text guards.

The first bridge protects threaded text, primary reflow stories, tables, links, notes, merge fields, conditional text, inherited/locked frames and groups. Replacement keeps the first character and paragraph formatting; mixed formatting and overflow need inspection. Disable Smart Text Reflow before using the Agent with a primary story. Save or export from the editor. Successful model steps use credits; commands have no extra fee, and undo does not refund earlier usage.
