The editor
DesignCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and the DesignCraft contributors and published at github.com/storytold/designcraft. It is dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0, at your option. Copyright © 2026 ArtCraft Team and the DesignCraft contributors.
This site serves the web build from each GitHub release without modification. The current build is v0.6.0; its zip matched the release’s published SHA-256 checksum (b43ebefc5b7900c8223953d632951308a347935adc6fad3ff00e4a7a1d050d63). The app’s WebAssembly file is too large for our static file host, so it is stored in Cloudflare R2 and streamed from there with the same bytes, at the same address the release’s page asks for. The license texts ship with the build: LICENSE-MIT, LICENSE-APACHE.
The fonts built into the app keep their own open licenses. Source Serif 4, Source Sans 3, Inter and JetBrains Mono are under the SIL Open Font License, as are the Japanese fonts from the ArtCraft craft-fonts collection, whose license texts ship with the build (for example OFL-biz-ud-pgothic.txt).
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the ArtCraft team, Storyteller, or Adobe. “ArtCraft” and its logos are trademarks of the ArtCraft Team. Adobe and InDesign are trademarks of Adobe Inc. and are mentioned only to describe compatibility.

Screenshots and sample pages
The editor screenshot and the four magazine pages on this site come from the DesignCraft repository (docs/images/), where they are listed as original work by the DesignCraft contributors under MIT OR Apache-2.0. The pages were laid out in code and rendered by DesignCraft itself; the artwork in them is generated too.
