Do I have to pay to use DesignCraft Online?
No. The editor is free, and so is the AI panel with your own OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter API key. Credits are for people who would rather not set up an API key.
What is a credit?
A prepaid unit for AI requests. You pick the model; the button shows what a request will cost in credits (an estimate for text, which depends on how much you send) before you run it.
Can I use my credits on other sites?
Yes. One Craft Apps account and one balance work on every Craft site listed below. Each site’s pricing page shows what credits buy there. The free credits for new accounts come once per account, not once per site.
What happens to my layouts?
With credits, your prompt, text and images go to our AI service, which passes them to the model you chose, returns the result and does not keep them. With your own key, requests go straight from your browser to your provider. See the Privacy Policy.
Am I charged when something fails?
No. A request is charged only after it returns a result. Errors and requests the model refuses cost nothing.
